Dr. Erik Hekkert

Dr. Erik Hekkert, D.D.S., is a passionate dentist with a transformative journey. He completed his undergraduate studies in Belgium in 1988 and later found his true calling in dentistry during a visit to Houston, Texas. In 2001, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, sparking a lifelong commitment to exceptional oral care.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Hekkert prioritizes continuous learning, consistently seeking new horizons in dental education. He has trained at renowned institutions: the Academy of General Dentistry, Kois Center, Spear Education, Nobel Biocare, Align/Invisalign and the University of Colorado, mastering the latest techniques and technologies that redefine dental care. Dr. Hekkert is a certified provider through the American Academy Of Facial Esthetics to provide Botox and dermal fillers to enhance facial esthetics.

Dr. Hekkert is an advocate of pioneering dental technology, integrating it into his everyday practice. Since 2003, he’s been a strong advocate of same-day CEREC crowns, utilizing cutting-edge technology for efficient, high-quality dental restorations. His dedication to innovation extends to Sirona/CEREC education, pushing the boundaries of digital applications, from natural tooth restoration to implant restorations and orthodontic aligner therapy.
